This is my 50th post since I started this blog 6 months ago. I am happy I could keep it live all these months and I hope to do the same in the coming months and years. I thank all my blogger friends for the kind support and the motivation to go on. Keep supporting !!! Love you all… 🙂
Every one of us has certain fears and apprehensions. For some it may be insects and other living entities, for some others it may be vehicles and speed and the list goes on.
As far as I am concerned, my ideas of fear are quite lengthy and distinct.
During my school days, I used to be scared of ghosts (did I mention I ‘am’ even now? 😛 ).
I become fainthearted when I am standing alone in the dark or walking alone through a deserted street.
Unlike many other girls, I am not scared of cockroaches and spiders, but, yes, cats and dogs drive me crazy.
When I found this week’s Wild Weekly Photo Challenge theme, I knew I could write hundreds of pages about it, but all they need are photos 😉
This photo was taken during the ‘ Scarecrow festival’ at St.Charles. Those eyes were so scary to me that I literally thanked my 55-300 lens or I would have never attempted to go near ‘him’ and click this one.
People love these rides…but not me..!!! I am scared of rides..be it a simple carousel or the huge ferris wheel.
Height scares me !!! I feel light headed and can feel a train ride inside my stomach once I am a few feet above ground level.
My list of “Scary” is never gonna end soon..So shall be back with another post.
As I’ve already mentioned, my photography strolls have come to an end with the weather conditions here. So I have missed many photo challenges for the past few weeks. I was a little uncomfortable posting from my archives, but my urge to post a picture made me hunt my picture folder for pictures that I haven’t posted yet. I found this one which ‘may’ fit for this weeks’s Wild Weekly Photo challenge. I am not at all satisfied with the shot, but this is for my photography-deprived heart.
As I’ve said in a previous post, sunsets amuse me a lot. But the sunsets here are not as beautiful as the ones in my home land. These snaps were taken during a stroll by the lake side. For sure, the pictures haven’t done justice to what my eyes captured..
I’m participating in the online adventure travel magazine LetsBeWild.com’s Wild Weekly Photo Challenge for bloggers. This week’s Challenge is: Sunsets! and this post goes to it. Support me friends… You are my inspiration !!!
The lakeside by our home is one place that we often choose to camp for an evening irrespective of the season..be it the fall foliage or the snow kissed trees or the lushy green, this is a place well worth for an escape from all our routines, works and worries .
